What we claim, and what we don't
A client acquisition platform is easy to oversell. This page states plainly how your business context is used, what AI does, what a Signal means and what we will never promise.
Straight answers
What B2B.ID is and isn't
What it is
- A platform where your business context drives relevance across every acquisition path.
- A place where businesses declare needs as Opportunities that you can respond to.
- A system that explains why something or someone may be a fit.
- A single pipeline for everything that starts on the platform.
What it is not
- A lead database, a scraped contact list or a 'verified leads' vendor.
- A guarantee of clients, revenue, reply rates or timelines.
- A deterministic predictor of who will buy — Signals are evidence, not intent.
- A CRM replacement, or an ad network with promised inventory.
Questions
Data, AI and fairness
Do you sell my business data?
No. Your business context exists to make matching relevant on the platform. We don't sell it as a data product or a lead list.
How is AI used here?
To interpret business context, judge relevance and explain why something may fit. It doesn't decide who will buy from you, and any fit reasoning you see is an explanation, not a prediction.
Where do Signals come from?
From contextual evidence such as declared Opportunities, publicly visible business changes and platform activity, where supported. They're shown as clues with the reason they may matter.
Are recommendations paid placements?
No. Recommendations are based on fit and context, and they're explained. Advertising is a separate, clearly labelled path.
